Brutus complains a lot about being a born loser. It gets a bit annoying. It’s kind of like those people on Facebook who just whine about their life in a pathetic attempt to get sympathy and/or attention. I am at least glad Brutus mentions being a born loser in today’s strip because I am finally, after just over four and a half years and countless misleads, I am going to quit commenting on The Born Loser.
Over the next few months, Watch This Space will return with new articles and a new purpose. This will still be used to try to get a difference audience for WTS and to share other articles and pictures I find around the Internet. For those who are interested and because I want to show how much of a dork I am, LAMNB had, all together, 973 posts.

I’ve discussed numerous times that Echo Point needs a guard rail to keep people from tumbling over the edge but then I realized that there is probably no guard rail because the citizens feel it is an intrusion on their American rights. Their right to tumble over the edge to their death.

Writers Block

For you other writers out there, how do you normally write? Do you use a notebook and transfer to a document or are you able to write everything on the computer?

About

I am a native son of Kansas plus a husband and father. I am also a writer, taphophile and amateur historian involving Kansas history, one-room schoolhouses, old houses and ghost towns. I also like to read and watch television.

Tauy [toi] 1. A creek in Franklin and Douglas County, Kansas; 2. Nickname for John Tecumseh Jones (1800-1872); 3. A blog featuring writing, history and a sprinkling of pop culture.

  • Question via ancientpeoples
Anonymous asked: Even outside of academia, I think you have an obligation to cite your sources. Not only is it misleading to use ideas (especially, as you say, extensive quotes) without crediting the original author, it makes it hard for readers to find more information on topics you post -- to learn more about a topic of interest or to find a source they can cite in an essay. I love your long posts, but I'd rather see fewer of them that cite their sources, so people can follow up on topics for themselves.

While we understand the point you are making, we must respectfully disagree in regards to our “obligation”. We are not a scholarly journal and have...
